IDEA SOUP

is a micro-granting

dinner celebrating creative projects in Phoenix that

empower and mobilize citizens to affect positive

change within the refugee community. For a

donation of $5 or more, you receive soup, salad,

bread and a vote. You will hear from presenters who

will share their ideas to make a difference in the lives

of refugees in Phoenix, from arts, urban agriculture,

childcare, social entrepreneurship, education,

transportation, work readiness and more.

You eat, connect, share resources and vote

on what project you think should win the money

gathered from the night. Winners come back to a

future IDEA SOUP event to tell the audience how

their project went, how they used the money and

what impact the project had on the community. Each

dinner will be a unique experience brought to life by

a volunteer committee.
