The College of Education will be well represented at the Association of Teacher Educators Conference in Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday. Dr. Sheila Damiani, Dr. Crystal McCabe (pictured), Dr. Lynn Basko and Dr. Thomas Christner will give presentations on subjects ranging from best practices to engage social-emotional learning to classroom management.

- "Setting up Opportunities for Reflective Practice in an Increasingly Digital World" (Christner and Basko). How to teach the skill of reflection no matter the modality.
- "The Power of Teamwork: How Collaborating Classroom Teacher Influence Classroom Management" (Damiani, Basko and McCabe).
- "With our Skills Combined: A panel approach to meeting social-emotional needs in Higher Education" (Christner, Damiani, Basko and McCabe) The panel discusses strategies to help prepare teacher candidates and future students on social-emotional needs.
