Dee Ann Ferguson,
B.S. in Nursing
(Pre-Licensure),

was inducted
into the VIP Woman
of the Year Circle by the National
Association of Professional
Women. Ferguson is owner of
Millennial Capital Management,
a private lending company in
Chandler, Ariz.

has been named
a curriculum developer in GCU’s
College of Doctoral Studies.
Dietzman started her career at
GCU in 1997 as an intern in the
public relations department.
She plans to obtain a doctor of
education degree at GCU.

Julie (Napier) Boto,
BBA inMarketing,
’01,
and her
husband, Thomas,
recently launched
Owlegories, a Gospel-centered
animated series and interactive
digital app that teaches children
about God. Owlegories features
storytelling and animation with a
cast of owls.
Judy Gates, B.S.
in Nursing (RN to
BSN), ’01,
is clinical
education director
for medical surgical and case
management at Banner Health in
Phoenix. Gates has more than 41
years of health care experience
and recently published her first
book, “More Than a Job: The
Other Side of the Door.”
JJ Harrison, M.A.
in Teaching, ’02,
a former middle
school social studies
teacher in Walla Walla, Wash.,
now is a successful rodeo clown.
Harrison was selected by his
peers to be the barrelman at the
2012 National Finals Rodeo.

is the new principal
at Johnston High
School in Johnston, Iowa. Woods
previously was principal at Spring
Creek Middle School in Pleasant
Hill, Iowa.

leader by the Association of
Women’s Health, Obstetric
and Neonatal Nurses. Satran
is a nurse manager in the OB
couplet care/lactation services
department at HonorHealth
Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Ariz.

is the assistant
principal at Hudson Middle School
in Hudson, Ohio. Miller formerly
was a unit principal and head
football coach at BolichMiddle
School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

is the new fire and rescue
chief in the Roanoke County
Fire Department in Roanoke,
Va. Simon previously was the
department’s deputy chief of
administration.

Jessica Major,

received the
prestigious $25,000 Milken
Educator Award. As dean of
students and master teacher at
Port Allen Middle School in Port
Allen, La., Major was recognized
for helping to significantly
decrease disciplinary actions and
improve the school’s test scores.
