The Diversity and Inclusion Department kicked off the academic year in a big way with its Welcome Week event, Project L (for Project Lope), an icebreaker that attracted hundreds of students. They enjoyed a barbecue, games, live music by student performers and vendors.

The event also gave students the chance to connect with the department and the campus' various multicultural and diversity clubs.

“It’s kind of to unite the entire student body,” said Ajienne Lambey, Assistant Director of the department's Multicultural Office. “It’s not centered around one culture but basically to make students aware of our office and new department.”

Bible Verse

Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn Him to death and will turn Him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day He will be raised to life!" (Matthew 20:17-19)
