ACE science LEAD’s Kahoot! reboot a success

When Dylan Huttenlocher was a freshman, he remembered attending Kahoot review sessions that helped him so much as he prepared for exams. It’s why the science learning advocate, or LEAD, at the Willow Academic and Career Excellence Center wanted to present his own Kahoot, which is a game-based learning platform, much like a trivia game. And it’s good he did. It was standing-room-only at his first Kahoot, and he’s hoping to help even more students at the next session on Monday.

ACE Centers again offer in-person academic support

Like everything else during the pandemic, the Academic Career & Excellence Centers — the go-to spots on campus for free peer-to-peer tutoring — went virtual, offering up academic support via a cable and computer screen. But the ACE Centers have returned to offering in-person academic help at its six locations, including a new location at the Colangelo College of Business.
