'The Diary of Anne Frank'

The College of Arts and Media premieres its first play of the spring semester, "The Diary of Anne Frank," at 7:30 tonight in the Black Box Theatre. Based on a true story, the play shares the tale of two Jewish families, the Franks and Van Daans, hiding from the Nazis in an annex behind a bookcase during the Holocaust. The program honors the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp's liberation and the end of one of the most tragic periods in history. The play also will be performed Saturday and Sunday and Feb. 7-9. Story
