Ignite worship event

By Ralph Freso

A first-day-of-school tradition at GCU is the Ignite worship service, when the Spiritual Life department sets the spiritual tone for the year. Ignite, on Tuesday at Global Credit Union Arena, featured music from the Worship team, a talk by University Pastor Dr. Tim Griffin, the lighting ceremony to remind students to be "the light of the world," and a fair that featured departments such as Local Outreach and Global Outreach. Bible Verse

Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe Him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. (Romans 13:5-6)
