The Arizona State Student Nurses Association recently held its annual fall conference at Grand Canyon University.
GCU’s SNA members and faculty advisors were well represented, with participation from the main campus and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing sites.
GCU State Nurses Association board members Alexis Stephens, Makayla Newcom, Alison Slater, Sadia Diouf and Lindsey Crowe led a session highlighting their peer-led mentoring program and peer-led practice lab sessions. They showcased innovative approaches to student collaboration and skill development.
Also, eight GCU SNA members were newly elected to serve on the Arizona State SNA Board:

- Cassandra Krocheski, Community Outreach (Level 1, ABSN West Valley)
- Joseph Nguyen, Director of Health Policy (Prenursing)
- Nicholas Nguyen, Director of Communications (Prenursing)
- Sophia Saulic, Co-Director of Marketing (Level 3, ABSN Chandler)
- Rickden Tsering, Nominations & Elections Committee (Level 2, main campus)
- Aaron Ross, Treasurer (Level 2, main campus)
- Sheridan Hendricks, Co-Director of Marketing (Level 2, ABSN Sun City)
