Between classes, homework and campus events, there is a good chance you’ve yet to leave 3300 W. Camelback this semester. Let your fellow Antelopes give you their picks for where to go in Phoenix when you need a break from the books.

I’ve done a bit of exploring lately and for some reason, I found myself eating a lot of burgers. Everyone has their own opinions about the best burger in town, but these five are all worth a try.
Windsor – Central and Camelback
This restaurant is hard to see from the road, but it’s worth the hunt. It features pub food, but if you’re looking for a good burger order the Backyard Burger, Windsor Style. Ask for it with some of their homemade pesto for an extra treat.
Smashburger - 20th St. and Camelback
For each state they’re in, Smashburger creates a signature burger. So if you like spicy foods try the Arizona. You could also design your own burger, but whatever you do, be sure to order a side of Smashfries with it.
Zinburger - 24th St. and Camelback
Located in the Biltmore, Zinburger has a clean, modern feel and friendly service. The Zinburger and the Kobe burger are the most popular, but the sliders are good as well. Their shakes are also popular with unique flavors like Crème Brûlee and Bananas Foster.
Delux Burger - 32nd St. and Camelback
This one is my personal favorite. Delux is small but has a cool, sophisticated atmosphere. The Delux burger is their most popular and is made with Niman Ranch USDA choice beef. Their sweet potato fries with the house aioli are also quite popular. Delux is open 7 days a week until 2 a.m. so it’s a great late-dinner option.
Chelsea’s Kitchen - 40th St. and Camelback
This restaurant has a comforting feel and the ingredients are fresh and locally grown. It’s famous for its brunch but their burgers are also good, especially their Green Chile Burger. The portions are huge so expect to go home with leftovers.
