What Would You Do If It’s Over on Saturday?

Let’s assume the guy is right and Saturday is Rapture Day. You’ve got 48 hours to play with, so what would you do between now and then?

We set out on campus to put that question to a few people. Here’s what they had to say.

Stevie Kamp, senior: “I’d go swimming with the sharks or skydiving. Those are two things I want to do.”

Josiah Igono, performance specialist, Performance Athletic Center: “I would reach out to everybody I know and tell them I love them. I’d ask them to forgive me, and I’d tell them to make sure their heart is right with the Lord.”

Ray Garcia, Facilities staff: “I’d ask for forgiveness from God, and I’d spend a little time with my family.”

Kayla Rauschert, senior: “I’d eat a lot of food. Desserts, like pizza cookies. I’d travel, probably to somewhere tropical. I’d go skydiving or bungee jumping.”

Chuck Howard, strength and conditioning coach: “I’d spend as much time with family and friends as possible. Success is defined as having those who love you near you.”

Rony Tchatchoua, graduate: “I’d probably go back and see my family (in Cameroon).”

Gaby Ngoundjo, graduate: “That’s a tricky question. There’s not much you can do in two days.”

Jenna Pearson, sophomore: “I would go and share the Gospel with my friends and family. If I could go anywhere, maybe Australia. But it’s more important to witness to people who aren’t saved.”

Jacqueline Smith, director of Career Services: “I’d talk to as many people as I can about Christ, so we could all go to heaven together. That’s what we’re here for. But I might also get a massage and get my nails done.”

What would you do?
