University lifts 'em up, and GCU Magazine tells how

The February issue of GCU Magazine contains a story that is heartbreaking and at the same time heartwarming -- the details of a Grand Canyon University pilot program that is coming to the aid of the struggling Murphy Elementary School District. In a similar vein, the issue also features two other uplifting stories: what GCU's crime-smashing partnership with the Phoenix Police Department has meant to local residents, and former basketball player Jerome Garrison's quest to get a gymnasium built at his Avondale charter school. And there's more: the impact of international athletes at the University, GCU's continuing emphasis on cybersecurity education, its leadership in the online education community and the story behind the organization that's now running Right to Fight Children's Cancer.
