Staff Picks: Best Chinese Food

Staff Picks is a feature of the Herd on Campus where the faculty and staff of GCU share their favorite restaurants, date spots, activities and more. It’s the “best of” Phoenix according to GCU. If your favorite isn’t listed here, make sure you leave it in the comments section.

GCU staff picks the best chinese restaurants in Phoenix.

David Hayes, COLA Instructor
"Ming's Pagoda."

Haley Peebles, COHS Instructor and AzHOSA Advisor
"I do not eat Chinese food but the best place for Japanese food is the Eastwind Restaurant. They have the best teriyaki chicken. It is not too sweet. It is just perfect. Their crunchy California rolls are very tasty as well, and i do not even like sushi." (Located at 13637 N Tatum Blvd # 30)

Don Fraser, Director of Alumni Relations
"Our own Great Wall on 35th Ave. and Camelback. From traditional favorites to fresh cooked seafood specialties, this place has it all."

Ruthann Nsubuga, University Relations Liaison
"Kwan and Wok on 17th Ave. and Camelback. Great Wall was my second choice because of their karaoke night, but food wise it has to be Kwan and Wok."

Mary Askew, Career Services Advisor
"PF Chang's. Excellent quality, variety and nice atmosphere."

Shannon Landers, Promotions and Special Event Manager and Media Manager, Men's Basketball
"Go Go China. They have great hot and sour soup. It's also the place where I used a fortune cookie to tell my husband we were going to have a baby 10 years ago."
