Sowing the seeds of change at community garden

GCU Today

A weekend of GCU outreach events kicked off at the Cartwright Elementary School District’s community garden, where dozens of volunteers gathered with students for a service day of building, learning, tending and planning for the future.

Thunder huddled with community partners, including Dr. Marjaneh Gilpatrick, Executive Director of Educational Outreach, College of Education; Cassandra Jarles, Director of Sponsor Relations, Habitat for Humanity of Central Arizona; Tracey Beal, Executive Director, School Connect; and Debbie Accomazzo, Community Outreach Manger, Office of Communications and Public Relations at GCU.
