After many lunch hours and several trips to the dollar store, Erin Polazzi, Gretchen Alvarenga, Michelle Sandoval and Ruth Thomason put the finishing touches on their gingerbread house.
"It was a gingerbread house on a budget," Polazzi said. "We wanted to do something original but creative without spending a bunch of money."
Complete with a snow-covered cardboard roof, candy cane hearts and gum drops that spell out "Lopes Up!" their collection of four cubicles in the doctoral studies area is one of many on GCU's Tempe campus that captures the Christmas spirit.
In this photo slideshow, you'll find everything from Santa's workshop, a toy train that travels across four cubicles, a Starbucks Christmas tree and even the Naughty and Nice List (we noticed a pretty even split of its membership!):
