One of the traditions on the Grand Canyon University campus is students camping out before a big basketball event, and Midnight Madness certainly qualifies. In what is known as Camp Elliott (in honor of Daniel Elliott, who was first in line the first time students did this several years ago), more than 700 students filled the Quad with tents and hammocks in anticipation of getting a good seat for Friday night's festivities in GCU Arena.
