Slideshow: Snow Much Fun

GCU News Bureau

Snow Much Fun, hosted by Grand Canyon University's Canyon Activities Board, was a nighttime celebration of the holiday season providing students a unique combination of winter-themed fun, crafts and an end-of-the-semester stress relief. More than 1,800 students gathered at Canyon Field on Dec. 1 for sled rides, s'mores, snowball fights and to win prizes and make gingerbread houses. Student Engagement Coordinator Carly Baum said, "It was an epic Christmas hangout with lots to do. Everything that CAB does is about fun and also building community. While it looks like it's just a ton of snow (20 tons, to be exact), it is part of getting people together and make sure they are living the GCU experience."

Bible Verse

God has saved us and called us to a holy life — not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. (2 Timothy 1:9)
