Slideshow: Rally Celebrates GCU's Ascension to NCAA Division I

Tuesday's announcement that GCU is moving up to NCAA Division I for 2013-14 and joining the Western Athletic Conference was celebrated at a packed Arena rally at noon. Dignitaries in attendance included WAC Commissioner Jeff Hurd, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and sports icon Jerry Colangelo.
