Grand Canyon University broke out the buckets of sudsy soap and the water hoses to help CBS 5 Chief Meteorologist Paul Horton on Thursday night at the annual Paul's Car Wash. The weeklong event features Horton and a few of his friends, including at GCU, washing hundreds of cars in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona. The GCU men’s and women’s basketball teams, coaches and staffers made their annual service trip to volunteer at the event, held at Desert Ridge Marketplace in north Phoenix. And Cheer and the Thundering Heard Pep Band were there, too.
