The second annual Health & Safety Day for Grand Canyon University and Grand Canyon Education employees included, most notably, a chance to destress by whacking a junk car with a sledgehammer. The event included talks by guest speaker Angela Harrolle, President and CEO of the nonprofit 100 Club of Arizona, which provides statewide assistance for public safety agencies, officers, firefighters, EMT/paramedics and their families, and keynote speaker Rob Hoadley, who survived multiple episodes of cardiac arrest. The Phoenix Police Department's armored SWAT vehicle also was on display.
