Slideshow: Cancer Climb Gets Big Lift from GCU

On Saturday, GCU turned out in force for the Climb to Conquer Cancer at South Mountain Park in Phoenix, which drew more than 4,000 participants. GCU’s team of 47 raised $5,902, which surpassed its goal by nearly 20 percent. The University also sponsored a tent, distributing T-shirts to cancer survivors. Two quilts were raffled, and a banner signed by survivors will soon be displayed on campus.

Bible Verse

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit — just as it has taught you, remain in Him. (1 John 2:27)
