It was Stand up, Speak Up, Save a Life at GCU Arena Tuesday morning, a community-wide conference with the goal to save lives of today’s youth. With 1,200 people participating, the conference brought students, police chiefs, government officials, faith leaders, parents and teachers together and provided the tools to take back to their schools and create action planning teams and goals to help make their schools safe havens.
