About 250 traditional students from Grand Canyon University's College of Nursing and Health Care Professions participated in Thursday morning’s start of commencement ceremonies at GCU Arena. The afternoon’s festivities honored more than 460 traditional students from the University’s other colleges.

Campus photographer Darryl Webb had the busiest shutter in Phoenix on Thursday, and here are some of his best shots.
