NSCS inducts more than 1,000 GCU students

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) inducted 362 traditional campus students and 648 online members nationwide. More than 500 guests in total attended the ceremony at GCU, hosted by the Honors College Saturday, Oct. 28. NSCS is an interdisciplinary honors society that emphasizes leadership, service and scholarship. The organization inducts underclassmen with 16 to 60 college credits and a minimum of a 3.4 cumulative GPA. Students must also rank in the top 20 percent of their respective college. This induction class of 1,010 members adds to GCU’s vastly growing chapter of over 3,000 current members. During this ceremony, NSCS also recognized two student-voted Distinguished Honorary Members: Dr. Ryan Brandt (Faculty, College of Theology) and Dr. David Dean (Faculty, College of Humanities and Social Sciences).  Pictured below is the NSCS Officer Board:  From left, Sean Thomason, Jordan Montgomery, Emily Ghena, Brianna Samonte, holly Hobgood, Destiny Woods and Stephen Parisi

Bible Verse
