COE faculty and staff attended the 2017 Masquerade for Dyslexia Gala to support the Arizona Branch of the International Dyslexia Association, a GCU educational partner. Approximately $50,000 was raised to provide scholarships to teachers and parents for training on dyslexia. Rebekah Dyer, President of the Association, said 1 in 5 individuals have dyslexia or struggle with a learning disability, therefore it is important for teachers and parents to receive training specific to working with students with dyslexia. Do not be quick with your mouth. Do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. (Ecclesiastes 5:2) To Read More: www.verseoftheday.com/
