Ken Blanchard, GCU to end partnership

Grand Canyon University and Dr. Ken Blanchard announced today that they have mutually agreed to end their partnership following the graduation of the 2015 Ken Blanchard E-M.B.A. cohort in the spring of 2015. The University will begin transitioning the name of its College of Business in the fall of 2014.

“Grand Canyon University and Ken Blanchard have enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship during the term of our partnership, and we appreciate all of Dr. Blanchard’s efforts in support of the success and growth of the University,” said Brian Mueller, the University’s president and chief executive officer.

“Our faculty, staff and students have done a tremendous job of building the reputation of our College of Business into a recognized brand across the country and throughout the Southwest, and we are very appreciative of the contributions made by Dr. Blanchard and the Ken Blanchard Companies. We are currently developing new, innovative programs that will continue to build upon our success."

The partnership between Blanchard and GCU began in 2004. The Ken Blanchard executive master of business administration (E-M.B.A.) program will continue unchanged for students currently enrolled in the program through their graduation and Blanchard will remain involved throughout their courses.

“I have greatly enjoyed my time and association with Grand Canyon University and, in particular, the time that I have spent building personal relationships with the administration, faculty and students in the College of Business,” Blanchard said. “The College of Business has experienced significant growth during our partnership, and I wish them all the best moving forward.”

Grand Canyon University offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in business.

Bible Verse

Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn Him to death and will turn Him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day He will be raised to life!" (Matthew 20:17-19)
