For the first time, a freshman received the Dean's Award at the annual Honors College banquet, which on Monday celebrated students' accomplishments during the academic year.
Honors legal studies student Jozy Kairu, who is involved with TEDxGCU and is a fellow in the Honors College's Leadership in Action Institute, received the award from Dean Dr. Breanna Naegeli.
