GCU Spirit Teams Attend Birthday Bash

Thunder gathered with his fleecy friends from around the state to celebrate the birthday of Fiesta Bowl Charities’ mascot, Spirit. The gathering was held at the Jerry Colangelo Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix and more than 130 kids attended and enjoyed an unlimited supply of silly string and camaraderie. GCU Cheer, Dance and members of the Pep Band made sure that every attendee enjoyed their evening of frivolity and football and taught a few "Lopes Up" along the way.
