GCU Magazine focuses on vast academic support

The May issue of GCU Magazine contains an in-depth look at all the ways students can get academic support on campus. (Photo by Travis Neely)

The May 2017 issue of GCU Magazine provides valuable information for current students and, especially, incoming freshmen about the University's extensive system of academic support. The cover story explores the campus setup, with eight Learning Lounges and myriad other ways of facilitating learning, and there's also a story on the learning advocates (LEADs) who help older online students get back in the rhythm of education. Other topics in this issue: what makes Honors College students tick, the GCU Year in Review, why the Speech and Debate Team and the men's and women's track and field teams are so successful, a look back at the historic raid conducted by a newly inducted GCU Hall of Famer and his band of Marines, and the important work being done by an alumna's global sports camps.
