The Canyon Counselors club members at Grand Canyon University and other students from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences participated in a walk Saturday that was organized by the National Alliance for Mental Illness to raise awareness about the disease and support for its victims. CHSS instructor Denise Krupp, the club adviser, said the walk helped future counselors by exposing them to various agencies that serve the mentally ill.

Bible Verse

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 4:11)
