GCU, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways – and we do in the latest issue of GCU Magazine.
The cover story for the February issue lists 75 things the news team loves about the university in celebration of its 75th anniversary, from the raucous Havocs, to the beautiful sunsets viewed from atop Halo Garage, to the campus' impressive labs, to CityServe, to our president, Brian Mueller.
Other stories feature a trio of telemetry nurses, all GCU alumnae, who now work on the same floor at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix; the unprecedented growth of the Center for Workforce Development, which has expanded to Austin and is adding construction and semiconductor pathways; and philanthropist Tom Lewis, whose support is making the T.W. Lewis Center for Student Success a reality.
There are also stories on GCU graduate Ron Polk, who was the longtime head baseball coach at Mississippi State and is considered the Father of SEC Baseball, and on Juliet Awolumate, an online student whose nonprofit empowers young women.
