Years at GCU: Off and on for 16 years

Academic degrees: B.M. in Piano Performance from D'Angelo School of Music, Mercyhurst University, Erie, Pa.; M.M. in Piano Performance with an Emphasis in Accompanying, Arizona State University

Faculty scholarship: Most of my scholarship is through performing. I usually perform around 75-100 concerts a year.

Notable employment in your field: Music Director for the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix for 24 seasons. I was also the Music Director for the local opera education group OperaTunity for a number of years.

What are you most passionate about in your field? Making music with people and communicating my passion for music to the audience. 

What aspect of your teaching style is the most distinctive and/or memorable? You would have to ask the students! I think it's my use of humor and attention to detail.

What do you like to do for fun in your spare time? I love to eat! I'm known as a foodie and am constantly referring people to great restaurants of all kinds.

What is something interesting about you that most people don't know? I love sports and I played basketball (point guard) from age 7 up into college. Small but quick!
