The Office of Spiritual Life is asking GCU faculty, staff and students to donate toys for all ages, male and female, to use at the University's annual Canyon Cares Christmas event. GCU will also use your donated toys to benefit the children in the Canyon Kids program as well as other local outreach programs.
GCU will invite families from the community to come to campus Sunday, December 12, for dinner and activities. After dinner the children will participate in the activities while the parents select and wrap one toy per child to take home and place under their trees for Christmas.
Last year, GCU faculty, staff and students donated more than 330 toys for the event that benefited more than 550 neighborhood children.
