Day of the Dead display on campus

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences on Monday created a Day of the Dead altar decorated with flowers, colorful streamers, photos of departed loved ones, crosses, crucifixes, even plates of cookies. Nov. 2 is a day when some believe the souls of the departed return to earth and provide counsel and advice to loved ones.
