Faculty and staff from the College of Science, Engineering and Technology volunteered their time Saturday to paint a house, move 15 tons of rock, remove two stubborn bushes, plant a tree and four new bushes, and lay down weed repellent.
"The lead person from Habitat for Humanity told us repeatedly that he was impressed with the amount of work that we accomplished, and he stated that they usually would have 30 people complete the work that we did with much less (13 people)," Dr. Mark Wireman, a CSET assistant professor, said. "I am proud of the work we did and to see everyone pitch in with their best effort. Thank you, all!"
Wireman said he intends to make this an annual CSET event.
