Club cultivates Valleywide 'Buddies'

GCU News Bureau

The GCU Best Buddies club invited other chapters from around the Valley to Thursday’s men’s basketball victory over Kansas City. Best Buddies focuses on friendship and self-development programs for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

GCU Best Buddies is led by student officers Jordan Burnbridge, Geneva Heinkel and Amber Williams, in addition to advisors Rebekah Dyer (full-time ground professor) and Shelley Evans (full-time online instructor). The chapter is one of more than 40 other university, high school and middle school chapters in Arizona. (Photos courtesy of Rebekah Dyer)

Bible Verse

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not corrupt and thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:19-20)
