As he has in semesters past, professor Dr. David Dean on Tuesday hosted a Roman chariot race game simulation for students in his history class, HIS-318 (Near-Eastern History). Members of the History Club, which Dean advises, also enjoyed the races and watched "Ben Hur" to get in the spirit. Dean is a proponent of showing history to make lessons come to life, and has led students on field trips to Civil War reenactments and other events.

Bible Verse

"At just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates hHs own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:6-8)
