Boris Diaw, a 13-year NBA power forward and former member of the Phoenix Suns who now plays for the Utah Jazz, made a surprise visit to the Colangelo College of Business on Tuesday to speak with students in the BUS 372 Sports Events class.
Diaw touched on topics such as sports marketing, social media branding, endorsements and marketing partnerships, and using a career as a platform to help others. He also stressed the importance of pursuing internships while students are still in college to jump-start their careers.
