Ball Out Phoenix collaborated with local organizations.

Basketball is an accumulation of small moments in which every point matters.

So it was nothing but net when 26 volunteer coaches – 23 of whom were GCU students – teamed up to put on a skills camp for 18 local junior high and high school students. The free, student-run event served as an outlet to assist families of all income levels in building skills, character and community.

The camp helped build skills, character and community.

“Ball Out Phoenix was successfully able to collaborate with local organizations to make this vision a reality,” organizer and GCU student Elisha Fronda said. “The event got extremely positive feedback from participants and sponsors, and we’re planning another camp next semester in collaboration with the Phoenix Suns.”
