Applicants Wanted for GCU Mentor Program

Grand Canyon is now accepting applications for students who would like to take part in the University's revamped mentor program. The program gives new students an opportunity to connect with mentors who are knowledgeable about GCU.

Each new student is grouped with a peer or faculty/staff member according to shared academic and extra-curricular interests. A typical peer mentor is expected to spend at least two to three hours a month with their student.

All students who are interested in becoming a mentor must apply online at my.gcu.edu/mentor. The Office of Campus Life will interview all applicants.

Serving as a peer mentor is a valuable form of service of the University community. Along with the opportunity to share knowledge and resources with an incoming college student, you are also expanding your network and building your resume.
