What attracted you to GCU? The opportunity to work in a Christian-based environment and continue my education here as well.
What do you do for fun and where do you find that outlet? I love to travel any chance I get, and I love singing (especially when cleaning house).
What are you passionate about? I’m most passionate about music ministry and its ability to draw others closer to God, and raising my daughters to be strong, independent, faith-driven women.
What are your favorite places or events in the Valley that you like to visit? I love anywhere I can hear awesome Gospel music, so I try to support musical programs at my friends' churches or finding new places to eat with my family. We’re currently a little bit obsessed with Revolving Sushi restaurants.
Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know: I secretly like Hot Cheetos, but I’ll never tell my daughters that (since I always discourage them from eating junk!).
What are you most proud of? My commitment to serving in the music ministry at my church for almost 20 years. I know that makes me sound a little "seasoned," but I’m only 35.

JEFF KRIGBAUM

What attracted you to GCU? I am a 2013 GCU alumnus.
What do you do for fun and where do you find that outlet? Watching a good movie with my wife, going for walks and playing with our poodles, Leo and Minina.
What are you passionate about? Higher education and critical thinking. We always should be trying to learn new things. As my grandfather told me as a child, “You learn something new every day.” Life skills are great tools in life, but couple that with the ability to reason and have sound judgment, and you are on your way to thinking independently and making decisions as a leader. I used to hear growing up that knowledge is power, but I disagree. Knowledge is just a word if left alone, like an old book. I now say that applied knowledge is power.
What are your favorite places or events in the Valley that you like to visit? Living in the Valley of the Sun, I've attended several sporting events -- spring training, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, Coyotes hockey and GCU basketball. When I lived in Indianapolis, I traveled to Cincinnati to watch the Diamondbacks play the Reds.
Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know: I served 24 years in the Army. My last position was in Phoenix as an Army health care recruiter with a territory of Arizona and southern Nevada.
What are you most proud of? My wife, Dr. Genomary Krigbaum. She recently received an award from the Federation of Associations in Behavioral and Brain Sciences (FABBS).
