What attracted you to GCU? The opportunity to work for the College of Theology. I have degrees in philosophy and religious studies, and you don’t get many employers who value that sort of background.
What do you do for fun and where do you find that outlet? I love playing fantasy football and enjoying musical theatre! You can find me listening to a football podcast on the way to work, then singing along to show tunes on the ride home.
What are you passionate about? I am passionate about bringing a level of intellectual rigor and cordiality to the field of Christian ethics. After earning my master’s in psychology at GCU, I plan on pursuing a doctoral degree in London.
What are your favorite places or events in the Valley that you like to visit? My favorite place to go in the Valley is the IMAX theatre in Tempe – as long as it’s a good movie. Other than that, I enjoy visiting new restaurants and pubs with close friends.
Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know: I am an expert marksman with .22 caliber rifles. When I was in Boy Scouts, I discovered I could consistently hit a nickel from 100 yards away.
What are you most proud of? I am proud of being the first person in my family to earn a college degree. Post-secondary education is truly worth the time, energy and financial resources.

What do you do for fun and where do you find that outlet? I am an extreme couponer. I love the thrill of finding a great deal. You can find me at the gym or out on a run.
What are you passionate about? I am passionate about being a great mom and taking care of my family. I also believe you've got to laugh a little each day. With a little bit of hard work and some humor, we can get through the day.
