Antelope Intros: Brandon Arnold and Daniel Pezzullo

Antelope Intros is a recurring GCU Today feature that introduces some of our new employees to the people around them in a way that is fun and informative. Employees are eligible to be featured in the month following their orientation.

Brandon Arnold

BRANDON ARNOLD

Job title: University counselor for College of Theology

Job location: 27th Avenue

What attracted you to GCU? Staying at home was no longer an option.  Additionally, I have friends and family who work here.  Lastly, I plan to finish my Master of Divinity.

What do you do for fun and where do you find that outlet? I love to spend time with my family, serve at church, photography, write/blog, play guitar and grow my beard.

What are you passionate about? My family, church, the Green Bay Packers and my beard.

What are your favorite places or events in the Valley that you like to visit? My favorite place is my living room at a comfortable 68 degrees. Ironically, my beard prefers mountains with trees.

Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know: I was voted “Most Likely to Be a Model” in my senior year of high school … clearly, GCU won here.

What are you most proud of? Besides my family, I am most proud of writing my first book last fall.

DANIEL PEZZULLO

Daniel Pezzullo

Job title: Manager, Grand Canyon Beverage Company

Job location: GCBC, main campus

What attracted you to GCU? I was first attracted to GCU as a student -- the breathtaking campus, warm weather and being only five hours from home (Orange County, Calif.).

What do you do for fun and where do you find that outlet? I enjoy the outdoors, going camping, exploring coffee shops and hanging out with my friends and family.

What are you passionate about? I am passionate about my faith, exploring the outdoors, learning new things and photography.

What are your favorite places or events in the Valley that you like to visit?  I like to visit Flagstaff, Camelback Mountain, GCBC and Scottsdale.

Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know: I’ve seen Florida Georgia Line in concert five times, and I consume an unusual amount of ketchup.

What are you most proud of? I graduated from GCU a semester early and now get to work for that same awesome university with a community of the best people surrounding me.

Bible Verse

All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. (Hebrews 11:13)
