GCU Today Magazine: 24 hours in the life of GCU

Few things on the campus of Grand Canyon University escape the roving lens of photographer Darryl Webb. Since joining the University in the summer of 2012, his images have documented everything from classes and concerts to speakers and sports.

It seems that he rarely goes home. And for a 24-hour period that began at nearly 10 p.m. on March 12, he didn’t. He stayed on campus, through the wee hours of the morning, just to see what he could see — and to share the best of it with this magazine.

Webb, who has more than 25 years’ experience as a photojournalist, says he never tires of his job at GCU. This visual essay was a labor of love for him. For us, it provides a window into how we study, work, play and live.

Bible Verse

All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. (Hebrews 11:13)
