Grand Canyon University President Brian Mueller will continue his tradition of leading the first Chapel service for the fall semester. He is slated to deliver his talk on Sept. 11 for the first of 13 Chapel services, all held at 11 a.m. on Mondays in GCU Arena.
The 2023 Chapel fall schedule features seven returning guest speakers, including Mark Moore, teaching pastor of Christ’s Church of the Valley, who will take the stage Sept. 18. Moore also serves as an online professor at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri, and Haus Edelweiss in Vienna, Austria.
University Pastor Dr. Tim Griffin said at Tuesday night's Ignite service that Chapel this year will feature the Book of Psalms, and "to complement that, at The Gathering (at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays in Antelope Gymnasium), we’re going to look at the life of David and how the songs intersect with the ups and downs of his life."
Selected leaders of the CityServe panel will be featured on Sept. 25, while GCU alumnus Josh Watt, pastor at Redemption North Mountain Church, will take the stage on Oct. 2. Watt graduated in 2005, played baseball briefly and majored in math before shifting his emphasis.

- Oct. 9: Lead pastor David Stockton of Living Streams Church will be the guest pastor at Chapel. Living Streams has employed several GCU students from the Workshop Arts program.
