Students at Grand Canyon University who don't necessarily want to join in club sports or intramurals still have plenty of options to keep active, from the seven campus fitness facilities (many incorporated on the first floor of residence halls) to six swimming pools, various basketball and volleyball courts (not to mention sand volleyball and pickleball), and even a climbing wall and skatepark. Or, they can just step outside their residence hall and find space in an open field, such as the Grove Field, to kick around a soccer ball with friends.
