Slideshow: L.O.P.E.S. Academy at Cardon Center opens

The L.O.P.E.S. Academy at the Cardon Center, a new Grand Canyon University initiative for individuals with moderate intellectual and developmental disabilities, opened Monday. GCU President Brian Mueller and Dr. Sherman Elliott, Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, were among the University officials who greeted the first class.
