Campus Recreation: Get moving this week!

By Kayla Hartson
Student Fitness Coordinator

Give your body some love this week and try this circuit style workout. It will get your heart pumping and muscles working!

It is recommended that healthy adults engage in at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day. Physical activity does not necessarily mean an all-out, super exhausting workout. Some days, your physical activity simply could be walking around your neighborhood after dinner for a few minutes.

Set a goal to move your body for 30 minutes on at least 5 out of the 7 days this week. One of your days can include this total body workout.

This workout requires dumbbells. If you do not have dumbbells, you can use items you have at home, such as water bottles, laundry detergent jugs, books or cans. Get creative!
