Grand Canyon University's Spring Student Spotlight Dance Concert features 15 pieces of beautiful choreography and is the perfect evening event for anyone interested in the art of dance.
For Cris David Barajas, who both choreographed the piece “Repose” as well as performed it with several of his fellow dancers, this year’s show welcomed a bigger stage and a powerful lineup of dancers.
"It gets better every year, and I feel like it’s the same this year," Barajas said.
The show offers choreography in several different styles of dance, showcasing the wide range of talent coming out of GCU’s Dance program.
"Seeing these productions is a really awesome opportunity to see people that are approaching dance and approaching art in new and interesting and really beautiful ways," Dance faculty member Kevin Godfrey-Chevalier said.
