Talking successful Turkey Drive

GCU Today

GCU employees not only helped to distribute turkeys and all the trimmings to more than 12,000 families at St. Mary's Food Bank, but they also contributed funds, matched by Pono Construction, that amounted to more than 41,000 meals added to the St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance menu. With every $10 contributed, employees earned a Turkey Ticket to win a chance to win courtside seats for a GCU men's basketball game. The 2017 campaign wrapped up Nov. 28, which was Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving. The lucky winner of two courtside seats was drawn by none other than Butch Glispie, a favorite turkey co-conspirator.

On Giving Tuesday, Thunder spent some #UNselfie time with Butch Glispie and Amber Glispie to thank them for their generous corporate match that doubles the dollars donated by GCU employees and the meals that will be provided by St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance.
CONHCP Operations employees collected a record-breaking $1,145.00 and their turkey trail completed almost a full lap of their floor in Bldg. 71

Bible Verse

Jesus continued His message, saying, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4:23-24)
