University Makes Big Splash With First Capitol Day

More than three dozen Arizona legislators lunched on Chipotle burritos and heard from GCU’s chief executive officer, Brian Mueller, and the New Life choir Tuesday on the State Capitol grounds, making the University’s inaugural Capitol Day a success.

Seniors Expect Big Things From ’Lopes Baseball

Seniors Tyler Bair and Colin Courtland have a feeling that a breakthrough season is on the way for GCU’s baseball team. The Antelopes are ranked ninth in the West Region and have been picked to finish second among five teams in the Pacific West Conference, behind Dixie State College. They’ll begin to see what they’ve got at 4 p.m. today and Thursday against visiting Arizona Christian University (formerly Southwestern College).

ASGCU Candidates Engage in Thoughtful Debate

The four candidates for the top offices in ASGCU squared off Monday night in an hourlong debate, sounding different themes but similar goals for student government at the University. Voting for president and vice president began today and continues through Thursday at the Student Union.
